FAQ

What are Rust CCTV codes?

Rust CCTV codes are identifiers you type into a Computer Station to remotely view surveillance cameras placed at monuments. Each monument has pre-set camera codes that any player can tune into.

How do I use CCTV codes in Rust?

Place a Computer Station in your base, interact with it, and type the CCTV code into the 'Add Camera' field. Press Add, then click the camera name to view its feed. You need a T2 workbench to craft a Computer Station.

What is the CCTV code for Launch Site in Rust?

Launch Site has multiple CCTV cameras: LAUNCH1 (main compound), LAUNCH2 (rocket building interior), LAUNCH3 (satellite area), and LAUNCHSITE (overview / helipad area).

Do CCTV codes change every wipe?

No — monument CCTV codes are fixed and do not change between wipes. They are hardcoded per monument in the game. Custom player-placed cameras have user-defined codes.

Can other players see what I'm watching on my computer station?

No. Other players cannot see what camera you are watching. However, players at the monument might see the camera LED light up, indicating someone is watching.
