The recycler breaks items down into ~50% of their crafting cost. Place items in the recycler at any monument and press start. It processes items one slot at a time every 5 seconds.

Sheet Metal gives 50 metal fragments per item — the highest metal output per recycle slot. Gears and Metal Springs also give 8 metal fragments each plus 1 HQM.

Can you recycle at Outpost and Bandit Camp?

Yes, both Outpost and Bandit Camp have recyclers in their safe zones, making them the safest places to recycle. You cannot be attacked while inside, but you can be shot while entering or exiting.
